Bob O Pedic Reviews, Questions, Complaints, Successes

 

     I get asked about the Bob O Pedic often, so I thought I'd address it here.  Probably the biggest question I get is about the quality of it.  Or "Is it any good?" is how it's mostly phrased.  Quite simply, it's a decent memory foam bed.  I don't believe it's the same quality as a Tempurpedic, but for $999, it's decent.  The Bob O Peduc uses similar components that you find in many other memory foam beds, so it's really comparable to a lot of other memory foam beds out there.  Some of which cost less by the way.  But that's for you to shop around for.  

     The other big question I get is:  "Is the Bob O Pedic really made in the United States?"  You'd think there would be a straightforward answer to this, but there's a slight wrinkle.  The short answer is yes, it is ASSEMBLED in the United States.  The memory foam, however, is imported from China.  So it's kind of a yes and no answer to that one.  

     The overall value of a Bob O Pedic isn't bad.  I talk to many people in my store who have owned one, or know someone that owns one, and the reviews are about the same as most memory foam beds.  You either like memory foam, or you don't!  Those that like it tend to love it though.  

     If you are considering a memory foam bed, be it the Bob O Pedic, Tempurpedic, or any other brand, please understand that you're body will need time to acclimate to a new type of sleep surface.  Some people take to memory foam like a duck to water, though, and need no adjustment time at all.  For the rest of us that needed time to adjust, be patient.  You will acclimate to it and it will do wonders for you at night!  If you'd like to share your own experience with the Bob O Pedic, please comment below.
